We specialize in ICF Foundations, as well as complete ICF custom residence builds. Micah Klesick, founder of Blue Ridge ICF, has the unique experience of being both a builder and an experienced firefighter and rescue technician for the past 18 years, responding to hundreds of emergency responses for structure fires, damage due to trees, and structure collapses and damage due to hurricanes, earthquakes, vehicle impacts and accidental or intentional explosions.
This has enabled him to understand deeply the weaknesses and downfalls of standard homes built to the minimum national codes. We strive to eliminate those risks as much as possible with how we build, using both proven and cutting edge practices for sustainable and safe homes.
